December 4 - Light the World Day 1 at a Time

Hi loved ones! I don´t have lots of time but I hope you all had a great week kicking off December with #lighttheworld!

this week i hit 16 months AND it was a happy week filled with revelation and love from our church leaders. I´m so thankful for their guidance in the Lord´s work! i know that God loves us. I know that He had sent His Son to set an example for all of us! We are led by prophets and apostles whom God has chosen and elected for us. Jesus Christ was sent here because he was chosen, too. He was chosen to be the Son of God, our older brother, and our Savior. This Christmas we can think about Him and the love that he has shown to us every single day of our lives! 

Be the light just like how Christ is our light!

November 27 - Happy Even Though Sick on Thanksgiving

well this week was almost 200x better than last week! I don´t know why, maybe because it was thanksgiving? ps. didn´t do anything for thanksgiving because i felt sick (2nd yer in a row thankyouuu)

but yes! ah, life is going so good! here´s why

• first, we talked to every single person that we passed in the street and they were all so postive! yay for little miracles. 
• my companion and i decided to love everyone and and sometimes we didn´t get much love back but like it´s okay! we´re happy!
• we´ve been finding and teaching and smiling and much much more! what is better than that? 
• we had an hermana conference this past week and it was SO good. I learned that we need to be examples to everyone so that they can come unto Christ by our love that we show! 
• i ate some yucky stuff this past week but it´s all for the experience, right? i mean, it´s a good story to tell!
• so miss universe just passed and the miss guatemala is from the area that I´m in so it´s been all about Isel this week! buttttt, i heard she lost :(
• speaking of miss universe, somebody called me Barbie last week. Thank you random citizen.
• i held a parrot... it bit my finger though :( 
• anddd it´s beginning to look like christmas out here!! minus the cold!!

life is going so great though! We´ve been seeing miracles and helping others come unto Christ. :) as december is starting, it´s going to be such a special time to help people use the life of Christ in their lives! I´m so thankful to be a representative of Jesus Christ, especially during his time of the celebration of his birth.

November 20 - Rellenos de Plantano

okay so looks like i´ll be celebrating thanksgiving with my little rellenos de platano! my companion and i were looking for them the WHOLE week, and today we finally ate them, sooo happy thanksgiving to us! 

i don´t have lots of time to share todooo BUT this week was a little tough! but we were able to see little miracles along the way! 

we´ve been teaching a cute fam of four and they´re adorable. they´re always so willing to share with us their love for God and all of the blessings that they´ve received! also, this guy named Bryan has been coming to church these past couple of weeks and he´s awesome. he straight up told us that he likes the church of Jesus Christ more than his mom´s church! but good luck to us because we still need to be bffs with his mom!! :)

this week i was reading a lot a lot a lot about faith and you know what i learned? when we have MORE faith, we have MORE love for everyone! Just like in the scripture in Enos 1:15... 

"Whatsoever thing ye shall ask in faith, believing that ye shall receive in the name of Christ, ye shall receive it." So really when we faithfully seek, we WILL receive! I´m so thankful for all of the trials I have because they help me grow my faith in the Lord, Jesus Christ. 

I love being a missionary and I´m happy to wear the Savior´s name on the heart!
