November 7 - Still an AYUTLECA
Well i´m still living out here in ayutla! land of the turtles... and the land of the iguanas! but still dying of heat but like what´s a little heat in the middle of November??
first, happy halloween! i hope you all had a spooky day full of watermelon jolly ranchers and laffy taffy!!
here´s a couple of things that have happened these past couple of weeks:
- new companion! her name is Hermana Rincán... I picked her up yesterday so we haven´t been able to take a pic! sorry!!
- our cute little JAVI got baptized on Saturday, she´s the absolute cutest... she kept saying "When is it going to be Saturday???" just because she was SO excited for her baptism!
- ate lots of cake this week instead of halloween candy!
- kite day happened and it was SO cool. especially because they make their own kites and they´re made out of tissue paper (like the gift wrapping type of tisse paper...) hahah
- anddd i´m extremely happy to be a missionary! :)
besides all of the craziness, i´m humbled to be a representative of Jesus Christ. In the mission, I´ve truly come to realize the importance of our Savior and God. They love us SO much that they bless us! even when we´re not even looking for blessings, they always want the best for us. I know that Christ lives, that God lives and that together, they made this world and they made a perfect plan for each and every one of us. I was reading in 2 Nephi the other day and I just wanted to share a scripture with you!! It´s in 2 Nephi 26:28 and it sayssss... “Behold, hath the Lord commanded any that they should not partake of his goodness? Behold I say unto you, Nay; but all men are privileged the one like unto the other, and none are forbidden.”
We are ALL given the choice to have HIS goodness!! Take it and love it and I promise you that you´re be at least 5x happier than you are right now! :)

October 23 - Elder Zeballos and TRIO
Surprise! i´m in a trio! we´re officially representing the north and south american continents haha! our new companion is Hermana Kasppeer from Chile :) It´s fun being with her, but also sad because both of my companions are heading home together in November so I´m just a sad little puppy :( but it´s okay because we´re the happy campers of tecun!!
elder zeballos (from the 70) came to our mission and shared SUCH a great conference with us! I learned a ton!! one of the main things that i learned is that we need to ALWAYS be a light to everyone so that they can literally feel Christ beaming off of us! I just love knowing that we are representatives of Him. What a joy! Also, I learned that we need to look at everyone with the potential of being the the celestial kingdom. We should always look at God´s children with pure love and happiness! :)
this week was a week full of life changes moments that I will never forget. I am SO thankful for everything that has happened in my mission! Everything has had a special reason behind it all!
quick invitation: CHOOSE THE RIGHT! Our spirit wants to do that is right, but sometimes our bodies are too weak! Lift up your head and be of good cheer!
