May 29 - TRANSFERS - PAJAPITA 2

i had transfers and i LOVE my new area! and i´m back with my trainer, Hermana Rosas, and we´re literally killin it out here! i love being with her again!

pajapita is kinda like where i started, in the mountains! but it´s SO hot, like worse than Mazate BUT it´s so fun, and the members are SO awesome. I´m in a branch, and ahhh, everyone is just so supportive and SO loving! i love it here already!

we´re teaching and finding a ton! everyone just seems so positive and ready to hear the gospel! i´m super happy here. :) i mean i´m still a little lost, but i can find the church and the house super easily, so like that´s really all that counts right? ;) 

really, i just love this area and i love being a missionary! it was super hard leaving mazate, but i know i´m called here for a reason! 

oh! this week, someone gave us milk, STRAIGHT FROM THE COW. like i´m almost positive that he grabbed the cup, put it under the utter and ya. but the worst part is, is that i´m lactose intolerant.... hahah but everything is good, just the milk not so much... haha!

hmmm, i´ve laughed A TON this week, like Hna Rosas and I are best friends so everything is just a memory for us, i love it!! A bat flew into our house yesterday and i have never seen Hna Rosas so scared in my entire life!! hahahah but i was dying of laughter because everything is just so funny with her. Oh, and this week someone taught us the Zona 18 gang sign so now we´re just secretly throwing up the gang sign at each other.

Really, we´ve just been traveling a ton this week, but i love being here. I love being a misisonary. I love being in Guatemala, I just LOVE this church and this PErFECT gospel!

May 22 - 3 Miracles and A Swollen Eye....Oh MY!

literally i´ve never been SO overjoyed in my entire life. Hermana Pavon and I had a party every single night this past week! it´s been the best!

okay so monday, we had a bomb FHE with these little girls that we´ve been teaching and we showed a video about Jesus´ baptism, and in that moment, the Spirit was SO stong. At that moment, we felt like asking the mom for permission to baptism her daughter and she said yes! It was SO great. 

tuesday, we went with our friend Byron, another SUPER positive investigator that we´ve been teaching, and the Spirit was SUPER strong and my companion extended the invitation to get baptized on Satirday (the 20th) and he said YES! We celebrated with pupusas and Coca Cola! 

wednesday, we found 4 nuevos and it was SO GREAT! They´re like already ready to learn more and more about the gospel! we´re excited to continue teaching them!! pray for us please hehe. 

thursday, okay LOL my companion literally was like omg look at the cow!!! and in that exact moment, she stepped in it´s poop.... i have never laughed so hard in my entire life. oh and we found this super cute little grandma thats blind and we had the cutest conversation with her about her life! i love people so much!

friday, we decided that we should go to mayerline´s house (the other cute little girl that we´re teaching) to ask for permission! So we went and we talked about the importance about have the Holy Ghost in our lives and how her niece would be a light in the house for this step that she´d be taking in her life. and literally the aunt was like yes, i want the best for her so if she wants to do it, you definitely have my permission.

so literally just like that, we had 3 baptisms on saturday! i´ve never been SO thankful for obedience! I seriously love seeing the PURE blessings here, especially in families that could be eternal. I love the fruits that we receive for being examples of Christ. 

saturday, we had those baptisms... of course we had to celebrate! it was such a special day! also, when the baptism ended, Byron was looking down at the font as the water was going down and he was like "Well there goes all of my sins!" it was so funny! hahaha i´m already excited to see them progress in the church!

sunday, they all got confirmed and i´ve never seen such happy faces in my entire life. oh and that day i got a call from president goodman, and he told me that i would be having transfers and that I´d be going to Pajapita, Coatepeque! I´ll be heading to a branch, pure dirt, but AWESOME members! And better news, I´ll be with my trainer, Hermana Rosas as an hermana leader! I´m SUPER excited!

can´t wait to tell all of you how transfers went! talk later my fav peopleeeee!!!

May 15 - Yay! Hello and Happy Mother's Day

happy mom´s day everyone! hope you all had a special day! i definitely did! :)

well these past 3 weeks have been super super super great! i´ve just been so full of joy and i never have enough time to write everything! but i´m gonna try to send my fav things that have happen these past few weeks!

well, yesterday I talked to the fam, i love them and it was SO great seeing their cute faces! i forgot how wonderful and loving my family is! definitely my favorite people in the entire world! 

hmm, oh! our cute little old people got married AND baptized! what a happy day that was! they´re so cute and faithful in the church. i love seeing happy faces in church, and especially in families! 

we´re been working a ton a ton a tonnnn with kids recently and they´re practically our bffs! Hannah, Sarita, and Mayerline. They´re my fav girls ever! I love their energy and they love US even more! hahah everytime we go to their house, they´re all ready with their Book of Mormon and hymn books! They´re such a joy in my life! 

hmm, my spanish is a lot better and my english a lot WORSE! but i guess it´s a blessing, I won´t have to try to understand what the crazy guatemalans are trying to say to me in english! hahah :) 

honestly, so many miracles happen during the day that it´s hard to count BUT all i know is that my testimony of Christ has been strengthened beyond measure! 

I´m so thankful for my Father in Heaven and for the love that he gives me everyday! I can feel His presence in my life more and more as I strive to be a better disciple of Jesus Christ. I love every part of this experience and I love being a representative of Him! 

I hope all of you can recognize the little blessings in your life as the Lord pours blessings upon you!
